![]() (Retroarch < system < put BIOs here) If anyone has experience with Android emulation, please lend me a helping hand. I know it's not my bios I did everything I needed for that. I've been trying to figure out some sort of solution to this problem for a flippin' week now and I'm still just as lost as ever. My app crashes itself and boots me back to my app hub. BUT.when I tried to load a ROM up and then I selected a PSX core. I thought that was weird but then I decided to just run them via the "Load Content" option. My files weren't being read in the directory. But when I tried to import my PSX ROMs for its own playlist something wasn't working. I even got a playlist for each console in my home. Mainly SNES, NES, ATARI2600, N64, SEGA MEGADRIVE, etc. I mainly wanted to play my collection of PSX ROMs sitting on my old laptop and thought they could finally be of good use. In certain games, running the frameskip to 1 or even 2 will allow for a less laggy main menu.I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S21. It both runs more smoothly/faster than PCSX-ReARMed and is more accurate as well. ![]() ePSXe is the more accurate emulator of the two for Android, though PCSX-ReARMed has more choices for shaders and stuff, being tied into Retroarch. But if it uses a PCSX core, I guess it should work fine. Test the frame rate of your game by activating Frameskip to 1. Either ePSXe or PCSX-ReARMed are your best choices. I don't have much experience with retroarch except for wrestling the awkward menus on android in order to play some GameBoy games. Go down near the bottom of the list and you should see "sound reverb" and "sound interpolation". Go to quick menu once the game is running and then go to options. This makes a big difference in overall performance. (Beetle psx, rearmed or crashy swanstation) I go into a core, pick a game like Crash Bandicoot. When you're there, make sure audio synchronization is off. Epsxe rearmed retroarch WebGo to RetroArch r/RetroArch. Then, go back to settings, and go to audio. Go into settings, and then drivers, and make sure "audio resampler" is on nearest. That can make certain builds crash for some reason. Go into load content, settings, and make sure all the settings are ON except for "automatically add content to playlist". Look at that list and see what format your game runs best on. PBP format runs tremendously better than in. So it seems to me this is the problem of PCSX-ReARMed core. Also tried combining all tracks into one BIN file and converting CUE/BIN to EBOOT.PBP format. CD audio is only missing with PCSX-ReARMed core. For example, running Symphony of the Night in. I did some tests with 'Tecmo Stackers' on my Android phone with ePSXe and RetroArch (Beetle core and PCSX-ReARMed core). The biggest game changer is the format of the game itself. ( ) This list is old but still seems to make due.
